Album Notes

Tapestree (tap-es-tree) A weaving of different sounds and styles. The music was written between 1993 and 1995. We wanted to write something of the life we saw around us. Party music, funky and Latin rhythms, and some jazz-fusion. This was a collaborative effort. A mixture of Santana, Tower of Power, Dave Mathews, Chick Correa. A seven piece band, drums, bass guitar and guitarsyth congas, timbales, saxophone, flute and plenty of vocals. With guest musicians Sal Rodriguez (War), Bruce Conte (Tower of Power), Tommy Mars (Frank Zappa), and Bobby Espinosa (El Chicano). You will enjoy the professional musicianship, fun and sincere music.
