DANIEL INDART
Award-winning producer, composer and songwriter Daniel Indart is widely respected in the entertainment industry as one of the most prolific and knowledgeable artist/executives in the world of Latin music. His music credits run the gamut of such high-profile film and television credits as the theme for the NBC series “Kingpin” and music for HBO’s “The Sopranos” – to commercial work including campaigns for Miller Lite beer and Hyundai automobiles among many others. As an artist/songwriter, Indart has performed with some of the biggest names in the music industry including Ricky Martin, Placido Domingo and Quincy Jones. Indart’s Los Angeles-based companies Latin Music Specialists (LMS) and LMS Records are among the premier sources for recorded Latin Music in the world today.

Born in South America, Indart’s mother was Prima Ballerina and choreographer at the prestigious Teatro Colon in Buenos Aires, Argentina and throughout her career became a world-renowned instructor and choreographer. Through her, Daniel was introduced to the music of the Classical composers as well as the Latin American vast musical Folklore, including Tango and Flamenco, and to musicians and dance professionals from all over the world.

Daniel’s academic excellence and musical talent led him to the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston, from which he graduated Magna Cum Laude, with a B.A. in film scoring. After graduation, RCA International signed Daniel to its stable of performers and two songs from his first album became number one hits on the South American charts.

As a songwriter, Daniel has written thousands of songs and commercial music pieces. As a performer, he has recorded three record albums, the lead voice in musical spots for numerous advertising campaigns as well as on record projects for Ricky Martin, Plácido Domingo, Ana Gabriel, Gloria Trevi, Pimpinela, Yuri, Lupita D’Alessio, Xuxa and “We Are The World” and worked with Quincy Jones, Humberto Gatica, and Grammy winner producers K.C. Porter, Antonio “Moogie” Canazio and Kenny O’Brien among many others.

In 1986, Indart founded Indart Music & Sound (IMS) has created and produced music and sound design for more than 1000 commercials, IMS has won a host of industry awards including Clios, Beldings and Se Habla Espanol awards.

In addition, Indart also founded Latin Music Specialists (LMS) which is the licensing arm of LMS Records which specializes in providing Latin music for film, television, multimedia, e-commerce, gaming, B2B and traditional record company licensing applications. Creating Latin Music Specialists (LMS), Indart has become the entertainment industry’s foremost expert in all genres of Latin Music.

In 2001, he launched LMS Records, independently owned Los Angeles-based record company specializing in the best in multi-genre, traditional and contemporary Latin Music.

Daniel Indart’s numerous television/film credits include the theme song on NBC’s hit series “KingPin,” music for HBO’s “The Sopranos,” and “Dexter,” FX series “The Shield” and “Nip Tuck;” CBS's “Medium,” “CSI:N.Y.,” “CSI:Miami,” and “CSI:Los Angeles;” NBC’s “Chuck,” Showtime’s “Weeds;” “Burn Notice,” (USA); “Lie To Me,” (FOX) and feature films including: “Dance with Me,” “Gran Torino,” “I Love You Philip Morris,” “Take The Lead,” “The Matador,” “Dirty Dancing,” “Swing Vote,” “Sunshine Cleaning,” “In The Valley of Elah,” “10 Items or Less,” “Happy Endings,” “The Sentinel,” “Date Movie,” “The Hot Chick,” “Laws of Attraction,” “S.W.A.T.,” “The Game of Their Lives,” “Spy Hard,” “Little Miss Sunshine” and many more.


MANUEL IMAN

Manuel Iman (AKA Manuel Rodriguez) has long been recognized as one of Spain's most innovative musicians, both as a guitarist and as a composer. Born in Sevilla, he became involved in music at a very early age. His first recording came in 1975 when he made 14 de Abril with the group Goma. The album was one of the first fusion explorations of that time and has now become a collector’s item. The band became a legendary name in Spanish rock and their recordings are being re-released on CD by Museam a French record company. After moving to Madrid in 1981, he became a sought-after creative force in the recording industry and produced, performed and arranged works for artists as varied as Lole & Manuel, Paco y Pepe de Lucia, Pata Negra, Kiko Veneno, Ole-Ole, Los del Rio, Remedios Amaya, Emilio Aragon and many more. He also has been performing several times for the King of Spain and his Family in official and private parties along the years. In 1995 he moved to Malibu, California, composing and producing music for video and preparing a new album. In 1998 the CD Reflections was released with Domo Records, an instrumental collection that includes three pieces from Manuel. In addition he prepared another solo album Flowers in the desert (EverSound), released in October 98, working with Grammy Award winner Roger Nichols and Grammy Award nominee Paul Dieter. In 1999 music from Manuel has been included in the compilation CD Expressions (EverSound) and produced and performed three carols for the compilation CD Tidings of Joy (EverSound), one of them, Little drummer boy featuring his daughter Lucia Iman. In 2000 Manuel has been working in a new album Legacy, based and inspired in old Indian bhajans creating a fusion with blues, reggae, Flamenco, rap, Brazilian and African music having the collaboration of outstanding musicians from around the world like Dan Moretti, Abraham Laboriel, Madan Gopal, Gita Jaiyaram, Bob Nochols, Jim Monahan, Scarlet Rivera, Nigel Holton, Windy Barnes, Sanjay Talwar and many more. In 2003 his new release, Your Love is my Blessing, was an album full of flavors of Latin and Flamenco music blended with the genuine touch of Manuel Spanish guitar and featuring his talented daughter songwriter and singer Lucia Iman. In 2007 Manuel Iman received a Special Award in the event Tribute to Andalusian Rock as a genuine pioneer of World and Fusion music in which he performed with his band music from his solo albums and recreated old hits. The City Hall of Jerez celebrated the 30th Anniversary of the birth of the band Iman Califato Independiente, sponsoring the reunion of the band, in which Manuel was the leader and main creative force. This year he has been performing in Spain in Territorios Festival of World Music in Seville , Festival of Bornos and Cádiz among others.

ADAM DEL MONTE

One of the leading flamenco and classical guitarist/composers of his generation, Adam del Monte has made it his life mission to fully express himself in these two genres, transcending labeling and convention. Always having incorporated a wide array of musical styles in his compositions, del Monte and a group of extraordinary musicians, have embarked on a journey of creating a unique sound and language of flamenco that is both steeped in tradition and progressive in its openness to musical flavors from around the world.

First Prize Winner at the 1997 Stotsenberg International Classical Guitar Competition, del Monte is one of the new generations leading guitarists in the world today by being a dynamic force in both flamenco and classical guitar. He studied flamenco & classical guitar in Spain, Israel& England. Beginning with his father, he continued his training with such famed Gypsy performers as Pepe “Habichuela”, Paco Cortez, Nino Miguel &Gerardo Nunez. His classical guitar teachers were Menashe Baquiche, Israel and Gordon Crosskey at Chethams School of Music and at the Royal Northern College of Music, Manchester, England. He has also appeared as both a solo artist and group performer in major venues such as LA’s Mark Taper Forum and the Wilshire Theater; the Teatro Real and the Conde Duque in Madrid; Manuel de Falla Auditorium in Granada; New Mexico St Francis Auditorium in Santa Fe; the International Guitar Festival in Israel, GFA in St Louis,’96, La Jolla ,’97 and Charleston, 99 GFA, Guitar Festival, the 500th anniversary of Columbus celebrations in Paris & Madrid.

Del Monte has also performed with flamenco singer Enrique Morente and the Madrid Symphony Orchestra, as well as with Lole’ y Manuel.

Del Monte was both influenced by and inspired the younger generation of flamenco performers who were beginning to depart from the previous virtual space of Spanish flamenco. Del Monte, too, set out in new directions, integrating years of traditional and leading –edge flamenco training as well as expanding his musicianship on the classical guitar. An eclectic awareness of jazz, world music and other contemporary forms led to new, creative renditions of flamenco repertoire.


Del Monte has recorded for Deutsche Gramophone – the featured flamenco guitar part in the double Grammy award winning opera “Ainadamar” by Osvaldo Golijov (2006), with soprano Dawn Upshaw and the Atlanta Symphony, conducted by Robert Spano. Since then he has toured this opera in, Carnegie Hall, NY, Lincoln Center, NY, Barbican Center, London, Colorado Music Festival, in Boulder, Chicago Symphony and many more. He has also recorded “Avner’s Theme” by film composer John Williams for the sound track CD of the motion picture “ Munich” by Steven Spielberg. Adam has been on the studio guitar department faculty at USC since 2000, where he teaches flamenco and classical guitar. In 2008 he has performed his Flamenco Concerto and the Concierto de Aranjuezwith the Ra’anana Symphonet, conducted by Nir Kabaretti.

JOHN LEHMKUHL

Sound designer, sound programmer, engineer prefers to create his magic from his home in Portland Oregon. Since 1988, he has been one of a handful of sound designers that program sounds in Korg Synthesizers including the M1, O1W, Wavestation, Wavedrum, Trinity, Triton, OASYS, Z1 and more. He also has drum loop libraries sold worldwide (now available in Stylus RMX format) and has worked as a custom sound designer on albums and commercials from artists and clients such as Mariah Carey, Madonna, Whitney Huston, Patti Austin, Ambrosia, The Yellowjackets, Kenny Loggins, McDonalds, Jack in the Box, Modelo Beer, Toyota and countless others. A monkey with the beat everyone wants.
