ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
What started out initially as a guitar record has become so much more. This record has it all! Along the way, discovering his voice and learning from some world class people and musicians.

Fire and passion are the best words to describe the guitar virtuosity of James Mann. Picking up a guitar at age 16 and never putting down since, not even for a day, James has spent years playing live, writing and recording and most importantly, learning. Stylistically diverse, his love for music of all genres impacts his own songwriting style, from rock, pop, jazz, blues, progressive and instrumentals. He says “I always want to be challenged and don’t want to get stuck playing or writing a particular style of music. I want to have a diverse sound palate and use those colours to paint my music”.
