Album Notes
Tom Riviere began his career at the age of 8 years old, coming from a background of a show business family. When his parents were on tour working all over Italy in a chain of vaudeville variety theater shows. His father and mother wanted to incorporate him in their act as a musical director and soloist,So he started to take classical lessons on the accordion with the musical director of the show for 6 months traveling through Italy. When he was 10 years old he joined his parent’s dance and acrobat comedy act touring the world. His first stage appearance was in Hong Kong,China and travelled all over Asia for 8 years performing and going to different schools all over the world, which was not an easy task when the shows where late at night.

He was getting hired as a soloist at the age of 12 when he was offered to work in chain of Her Majesties theater, on a tour of New Zealand for 6 months with his parents in the show also, after 3 months in Tahiti came back to the states and stated to work all the hotels up and down Miami Beach in the winter and in the summer off we went to the catskills mountains,New York,Boston,Chicago
Montreal Quebec,Reno,Las Vegas,Alabama,Georgia and back to Florida.

At the age of 18, he struck out on his own and began to cultivate his talents as a composer and performer.

As a musical director of the legendary CAESARS PALACE in Las Vegas for 3 years and later as musical director of Harrah’s Casino Hotel ,Lake Tahoe for 4 years. He conducted his own orchestra as well as arranging, conducting, producing, mc and performing with such great star’s of the that time. With a particular leaning towards jazz and fusion, Tom adds a sensitive classical touch to his piano styling, both in his treatment of standards and in his own original material.

I had the opportunity to work and live in many countries all over the world.Australia,New Zealand,Fiji,Tahiti ,Hawaii,Hong Kong,Kowloon,Singapore,Philippines,Vietnam,Thailand,Taiwan,Japan,Okinawa,S.America,Cuba,Canada,USA and most of Europe. From my experiences I was able to hear many ethnic culture sounds that I have absorbed and incorporate in my music. We are truly in a great technological area with great minds that produce inspiring hardware, software and with the mixture of acoustic instruments, we have endless creative possibilities.
