BIOGRAPHY
2Loko is an house/hip-hop band from Las Vegas, Nevada. It consists of two artists, CitydaRockstar (Greg Winiewicz) and JRukkus (Jeremy Parker). Both spent their child hood living in rough mid-west communities, City was from N. Chicago, IL and Rukkus was from Hammond, IN. Even with living about an hour from each other at the time, they never met until 2005 on a high school bus in Las Vegas. Both shared a very common interest in music and at the time City had his own recording studio which Rukkus paid him to use on occasion.
Not long after that, their business relationship turned into a friendship and they formed a group called TMWK and also did their solo projects on the side. TMWK ended up doing a good number of local shows at numerous venues around Vegas.
At the end of summer 2009, the duo decided they were ditching the rap swagger of TMWK and transitioning into Electronic Dance Music (EDM). With the music transition they also made a name change to 2Loko which represents their new music, new look and also their wild party lifestyles. 2Loko has released multiple singles including Just Like Dat and Body Movin and have done numerous local shows creating a good buzz in their community.
