Reviews:
Formed in 2012, Devour the Day was born from the brain trust of Joey Chicago (Bass, Vocals, Songwriter) and Blake Allison (Lead Vocals, Guitar, Songwriter, Producer). After success with the band Egypt Central, Blake and Joey sought to break out on their own, writing and producing music without compromise. Joey explains, “Our lives got to a point in which we had lost trust. We lost our compassion, our feeling, and our way. The water was so murky that we didn’t know which way was up. Madison Rising by Madison Rising
Release: 2011
1
Reviews:
Madison Rising's self-titled debut album was released in October 2011. The band – with Dave Bray on vocals, Alex Bodnar on bass and guitar, Christopher Schreiner on lead guitar and Sam Fishman on drums – makes guitar heavy rock music with a distinctively pro-American message and sound. The overarching theme of the band’s music is that of liberty, independence, smaller government and personal responsibility. This is a group of musicians fueled by an eternal gratitude and love for their country. Madison Rising: music with meaning.

American Sunshine by Colin Hay
Release: 2010
0
Reviews:
AMERICAN SUNSHINE is a multifaceted portrait of Colin Hay the performer, songwriter, and recording artist. Within its eleven tracks are some of the heftiest rock, purest pop, and most emotionally bare acoustic balladry Hay has yet laid down, all guided by his uncluttered songwriting and his instantly recognizable voice. “My last record [2007’s Are You Lookin’ At Me?] was the first new album I’d done in a long time,” he explains. “In a way, it felt like my first solo album. I’m still learning, and I learned a lot on that record. This one is definitely a step up in terms of the quality of the songs and the sounds we captured.” Combine that with his tireless touring and Hay is poised to enter a new phase in his already storied career.
