BIOGRAPHY
A.Le' born Andre Leavell in a small town named Elkton, Kentucky. Was raised
in a single parent home raised by his mother. "I was raised in a broken
home, my pops broke my moms heart and just left. Still can't respect that
but I do have so much respect for my moms we only had one real fall out which
grew me up." He never really showed his musical talents until he was about
7 yrs old singing in the church choir. "I went on a field trip for a upward bound
program, and got to go to Detroit and saw Mowtown U.S.A. Studio and that
was the first time I thought about making my own music. I got to sing in the
tunnel they have in the ceiling, which they used to create echo effects back in the day.
The story is that one of his friends was like, “You know what, u sung where a lot of greats
singers have.” So he decided that day at age 13 to be an artist. All the signs where there,
at an infant age his mom said he moved to music in the crib, at first she thought it was something
wrong with him. Said its no way a baby his age could have knew anything bout music.
But when the music stopped, he stopped. Weekend at Bernie's pretty funny but true!
At age 18 he took off to many cities with a dream and after a bunch of unfortunate
events, he was left homeless sleeping out of his Ford Explorer. "That made
me humble, I didn't need for much, I couldn't. The city streets raised me in
away where I had to learn how to adapt mentally, musically etc. I choose
plenty of states to live in just so I could know how it was in certain areas
of the U.S. I won't say I loved the experience, but it made me"
2005 he came back home to Kentucky and had to hold off on bringing his music
out to the public for certain reasons, but once released. He almost won the
Grind 2 Shine Contest the 1st yr, then he performed at Austin Peay State
Uni., Alhambra Theater (Hopkinsville,KY), Clarksville,TN Fair Grounds, and in 2012 he went to
ATL Edition Coast 2 Coast Industry Mixer at Harlem Nights. More than 80 songs
recorded, most were never leaked. Since the Coast 2 Coast performance he’s recorded two
albums "Tha Good Bad Boy" and "2 Sides, which was colaborated and recorded with
Mr.Vicsta" in Guthrie, KY. At the moment he's working on an untitled album which 1 of the 3 songs
is on 87.7 Tha Hood which is titled "We On Dat",another 1 of the 3 which is titled
"No Changin" has a music video shoot June 15th. He is country for real..lol but his
music touches folks, it has a great vibe, which is his own genre. He is a very versatile
MC. He explained to me the word COUNTRY to him is an expression of being FREE and
always being yourself no matter the circumstances.
He recently was opening up for Ca$h Out on June 30th, which he still performed
But opened up for Sean P of the YoungBloodz. He is still pushing his music everyday and everyway
that he can, he is to be in OHM (One Hundred Magazine) August edition which is out of Clarksville, TN
so he’s making some noise outside of his area. Were he was interviewed and also had a chance to make some positive networking connections, so look out for this up coming artist who is slowly on the rise.
