Aaron Fox

Biography

Aaron Fox & the Reliables started as a collaboration between Aaron Fox, guitarist and singer/songwriter, and guitarist Mike Burns. After graduating Berklee College of Music, Aaron spent many years as a solo act and listening to artists such as The Beatles, Wilco, Crowded House, Sting, and Tom Petty (and he still does) to gather inspiration for his songwriting craft. In early 2009, Fox was introduced to Burns (of The Blind Robins). Burns' influences of classic country and blues, along with a healthy dose of Led Zeppelin were evident in taking the songs in a new and exciting direction. A couple of months later, the rhythm section was made complete by bassist Bob Vodick (The Blind Robins, Pine Cone, Tools of Romance) and drummer Rick Zygowicz (X-Parrot, the DayBreakers, original (1985) member of Material Issue). Aaron Fox & the Reliables had been born.

Fronted by Fox's engaging voice and clever songwriting, the “Reliables” sound is propelled by driving guitars, sweeping bass lines, and infectious hooks that will stick with you for days on end. While their sound reflects Powerpop and roots rock styles, it also embraces a Midwestern feel that is both timeless and universal.
