Anthony Aaron Frank, born in Paradise California. Started playing piano at the age of 8-years old. Aaron was fascinated with the keys and always played at home. Aaron was always around musicians. His father was and is a songwriter. At age 12, Aaron began the Eternal Journey of playing guitar. Aaron watched Carlos Santana play at Chico State. Aaron bought his first electric guitar at the age of 17. It was an Ibanez guitar. He then during that same year, decided to trade a 1967 Camaro RS Hot Rod for some music equipment and one Kramer Voyager guitar. Aaron played after school until his fingers bled . There was never a day that he wasn't playing his guitar.
After listening to George Lynch from the LA band Dokken, Aaron was inspired to write songs of his own. Sometime after that, Aaron decided to take music theory and began learning scales and modes. A short while after that, he heard Joe Satriani play for the first time. He wanted to play like him so much, for so many years, but just couldn't seem to get it out of himself . Years he spent practicing, trying to archive his own style. Aaron wanted to write guitar solos, but needed some kind of inspiration to light the torch. That happened about four years ago. Someone told Aaron about a guitarist named Doug Doppler, a student of Joe Satriani, that would come to play in Forest Hill not too far from where he lived. He went to watch him play and it was the best guitar performance he had ever seen. Aaron gave him his demo and left the concert upset with himself, because after watching Doug play, Aaron realized how far behind he was.
That night when Aaron went home, he began to play and everything started changing. The music started coming to him like a flood. Aaron wrote his second guitar solo then another and another and so on. Doug Doppler changed Aaron's life forever. He wanted that sound for so many years and it finally came to him. Aaron thanks the Lord, Doug Doppler, Joe Satriani and George Lynch, for the inspiration to do what he does. Aaron's dream is to write a hit song or be a part of one. He also would love to play along side the greats one day only to show them what they have done for him. God bless!!!
