BIOGRAPHY
Since graduating from WAAPA in Western Australia I’ve worked as a fulltime professional multi-instrumentalist in the Perth metro area from 1995 to 2005, as leader of my own band, The Acapulco Brothers (Tijuana Brass tribute show) and as a hired gun for other bands that have had short term personnel replacement needs.
As a result of securing some overseas publishing deals for my original compositions I settled 5 years ago in the wheat belt town of Goomalling to run a recording studio, record and compose.
I’ve been keeping up my live work in the central eastern area over the last 5 years as a pianist, guitarist, banjo player with the odd MC gig thrown in here and there. Over the last two years, my live work has been predominantly as a harpist and this is my performance preference currently.
My main performance rep consists of traditional celtic, light classical, Andrew Lloyd Webber, some pop covers etc. I intersperse these tunes where appropriate with anecdotes about the the composers, the tunes and their history and general road tales.
Wildflower, my sixth studio album is out next month. It contains traditional celtic music and features me on harp, guitar, low whistles and various other instruments.
