A message heralded from a voice that stirs the soul. From the basement of baritones to the rafters of Heaven, he stands and sings with precision, power, and presence. Small in stature but explosive in spirit! In a moment’s notice, he’s a small voice, a tenacious tenor or a gospel “squaller.” A resident of Atlanta GA, he is the son of Margrette J. Baker, and the late John L. Baker, Sr.
CEO, Executive Director of Adonaijah Youth Foundation with a diploma in Computer Programming and Cosmetology. Student Major- Bachelor of Arts (Urban & Global Economics Development). He is a motivational speaker and minister-passionate about the well-being of youth and community. He works with transitional centers and shelters for men and women. He is a tailor by trade and talented in the field of fashion design. He is an author and publisher of three books (including a Children's Story Book with animated characters). In music he is an inspirational artist, who has won several awards. An entertainer with a discography of three CD projects, his life is a stage and the world a platform for painting the picture as "The Artist.” He currently resides in Atlanta, GA where he serves at 12Stone Church under the leadership of Kevin Myers, Sr. pastor.
He has participated in various trade/fashion shows, plays and performed at various venues, clubs and social areas for an array of audiences; making debuts in music, television, radio and magazines. He attributes his success and favor to his faith in God, determination and passion.
THE HIGHLIGHTS
He is a 2003 Stellar Award Star Search Finalist, 2003 1st place Male Vocalist/ Soloist with Christian Artist Search. At Dr. Margaret Douroux’s 17th Annual National Heritage Gospel Conference, he accompanied the renowned songwriter, V. Michael McKay for the televised “Save The Boys” musical concert. He has opened for various artists such as Kevin Davidson, Chester T. Baldwin, Vanessa Bell Armstrong, and Smokie Norful. He has sung for John P. Kee and many others including a former president of the United States, President Bill Clinton.
