Adrienne Frailey is a northern Indiana artist whose vibrant vocals, guitar and keyboard have caught the attention of folk-indie and Americana DJs in 43 states. Transcending her Midwestern roots, she was “already displaying real depth as a singer/songwriter..." according to Folkalley.com when awarding her the title of Open Mic Artist of the Month (March 2009). Performing her own material in concerts since the age of 16, Frailey also likes taking part in historical festivals in her region, where she rivets audiences with her take on well-known and obscure traditional tunes. Often compared to Eva Cassidy and Karen Carpenter, Adrienne has recently been called “the freshest voice to arrive on the scene in [northern Indiana] Lakes country in many years” with talent “wholly, uniquely hers, and in a league of its own,” by Northern Indiana Lakes Magazine.
