Agency Dub Collective

Agency Dub Collective have been pioneering live dub in Australia since the turn of the millennium. They recorded their grimy debut album "Seventh Listen" in January 2000. Tracked in between garages and lounge rooms on pre-loved reel-to-reel and 4-track tape machines, it remains to this day an anarchic gangsta-dub odyssey.

Their sound is inspired by the classic dub template - heavyweight rhythms, spacey dub effects and a "less is more" philosophy. From radical ragga-rap to desert surf instrumentals, their music is, above all, great to dance to.

Over the last decade Agency Dub Collective have toured Australia extensively, played at numerous festivals (Falls, Peats Ridge, Rainbow Serpent, Wide Open Space, Exodus, to name a few) and produced 7 albums, refining their trademark roots-vibe dub-hop style.

After a year's sabbatical from the live circuit, July 2012 saw Agency Dub Collective release the "Inch Nor Mile" EP - a collection of mixes sampled from their forthcoming album - "Beggars Belief".

Their much-anticipated seventh album "Beggars Belief" is being launched on 24 November 2012 at The Esplanade Hotel, St. Kilda, Melbourne, followed by an extensive Australian East Coast tour through Dec 2012 / Jan 2013.
