Aisling Sings is the performance name of Aisling O'Gorman - singer, songwriter, composer and producer. With a twin love for both music and words, Aislng's songs are always striking in both their lyrical imagery, narrative and harmonic twists and imaginative use of the singing voice. She is a vivid and contemporary musician with a fascination for the human voice and a passion for harmony, language and rhythm.
For many years Aisling was inspired to encourage those who had lost confidence with their singing to find their voice again through running classes called 'Singing for the Terrified' which were very popular. She holds a deep conviction of the naturalness of music for all human beings and the importance of nurturing creative expression from an early age.
On stage and in person she is a poetic, joyful and playful presence and with a background as a choir director, she loves to encourage people to sing at her performances. Her live performances are much more than a passive listening experience. Her music and performance have inspired audiences at concerts, festivals, schools and conferences alike.
