Alba Molina

Alba was born in the city of Santa Fe de Bogotá, Colombia and started to play the guitar and piano at the age of six. Then, at ten, she moved to Costa Rica with her family and a few years later, she enrolled the National Youth Symphony Orchestra, where she learned music theory and how to play the flute. At the same time she has participated in several choirs internationally, both as a singer, arranger, and often as a conductor.

At the Universidad de Costa Rica and Universidad Nacional, Alba studied classical guitar, piano, singing, composition, and Music Education. She has also worked as a Music and English teacher in schools, both in Costa Rica and California, USA.

As the founder of Alborada Producciones in 1992, and later AM-International, she has released twelve individual bilingual music productions with valuable uplifting material for all ages, as well as several projects for other artists. Sony Music has represented some of her children’s work throughout Latin America since 1999.
Other compositions: Several School Anthems, the theme for the 1996 First Lady’s Campaign: “Por Una Vida Sin Violencia” (A Life Without Violence”), the music score for modern dance performances, commercial jingles, documentaries, and arrangements for other musicians.

Having the broadcast license, Alba has recorded commercial ads and documentaries, as well as several children tales in English and Spanish. She also created the radio program “Buenas Noticias” (Good News), which was transmitted on Radio Nacional. Alba recently founded an Internet radio station called Wholesome Harmony / Armonía Integral, exclusively with motivational contents.

For several years Alba served as the Music Director at Unity Church in Costa Rica, and has promoted her music and speaking engagements throughout several cities in the United States and Costa Rica.

Because of her teaching background and keen desire to share her message with more people, Alba decided to become a Certified Bilingual Professional Speaker at the Toastmasters International Organization, and a certified Holistic Life Coach and Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) Practitioner at the Spencer Institute, both in California; thus, she has continued expanding her music, speeches, workshops, articles, and counseling to people in several countries. She is currently about to publish her first book “Only You Can Make Your Dreams Come True”.

Alba is an active member and Director of Music and Entertainment at POETs (People Of Enlightened Thoughts), which has its headquarters in Irvine, California. She is also the International Director at “Whole-Sum Kids Talent Agency” at Truth. by Dreams (headquartered in Phoenix, Arizona).
