Welcome to the heaven-lit world of Alexia Chellun. A terrestrial Angel, who smiles at life as the music flows through her heart.
A gifted singer/songwriter, accomplished self-taught guitarist and Kundalini Yoga instructor; Alexia travels throughout Europe and around the world singing at various festivals, yoga teacher trainings, retreats and concerts. Some examples are; Big Sessions Festival, the European Yoga Festival, Brighton Live, and various Spanish Festivals.
Alexia composes the music to the mantras that are derived mainly from Sikh, Hindu and Buddhist traditions and is fascinated by the scientific realisation that sound is an ancient healing tool.
Alexia also shares songs that she has written herself, inspired by her journey through life. Born in England to Cypriot and Mauritian parents, she sings in a cocktail of styles and languages. Spending 8 of her school years in Mauritius allowed for a range of musical influences and an introduction to chanting whilst attending Hindu and Tamil festivals. Whether singing alone or with her band, whether mantras or songs - her uplifting voice and melodies will leave you feeling relaxed, joyful and inspired.
“Deceptively simple songs sung by a captivating artist” – Phil Jackson, specialist BBC music presenter
