Allison Chu is a singer, model and actress from Honolulu Hawaii. Clasically trained from the age of 6 she has performed in Opera productions in Honolulu including Hawaii Opera Theatre (HOT) and the Hawaii Youth Opera chorus Operatunities program. She has studied and performed Hawaiian music since age 7 and is a three time Hawaii Music Awards winner as well as an Omni Youth Music Awards winner. In 2004 she became a voting member of the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences.
In 2011 she was signed to Wilhelmina Models and has modeled with Wilhelmina in their Hawaii and Los Angeles markets. In 2012 she joined the ranks of Wilhelmina New York where she continues to pursue her modeling career.
She has acted since the age of 7 , begining her career as the title role in the film " Little Lost girl of Manoa Valley". She has also performed in stage productions in Honolulu including the role of "Maria" in "West Side Story". She made her national television debut appearing as "Chen-Chi" in the pilot episode of Hawaii Five-0 and appeared in Kimora Lee Simmons "Life in the Fab Lane". She is a member of SAG-AFTRA.
Music has always been a way of life for Allison. Her love of music extends to instruments. She plays piano, violin, ukulele and guitar.
More recently she has been pursuing her love of song writing, joining the ranks of BMI as a songwriter. She is proud to release "seeing U Tonight" and "Ride this Wave" as her first original works.
