AlterEgo

Biography

alterEGO has been playing since the summer of 1999. Keeping true to their poppunk roots, and yet constantly evolving. There have been many lineup changes and obstacles to overcome, but in the end they always remain triumphant. They maintain a highenergy stage show as well as continued success in the stuio. With five full length CDs released in as many years, and several singles and EPs in between. They have even released a DVD following their summer tour in 2004.

alterEGO has played several international tours, making trips to Japan nearly every summer since 2002. They have played up and down the west coast of america several times and maintain a loyal fanbase in the pacific northwest.

Having released their first nationally distributed album "Station!" in 2003, both in the USA (self released) and in Japan (Mission records) the band toured extensively to promote the album. Since their return they have been working on new music, and playing locally to stay in shape, even doing a novelty christmas album in the interrum.

alterEGO has been fortunate enough to share the stage with such great bands as Yellowcard, Everclear, The Presidents of the USA, Rooney, Stroke 9, the Julianna Theory, and Fishbone in the US, and 10Feet, Good 4 Nohing, Summer Rhyme, Parking Out and Asian Hand in Japan.

In the summer of 2007 alterEGO releases its most valliant effort to date: "this time tomorrow" on Pacific Ridge records in America and Kick Rock Music in Japan. This album has been almost three years in the making and features some of the most complex music that the band has done to date. While still maintaining pop punk sensibility and simplicity. With singalong hooks and head bobbing beats, "this time tomorrow" is not soon to be forgotten.
