Since releasing his debut album “My name is Amos” in 2008, Amos J. (formerly known as Amos Joannides) has grown leaps and bounds not only as a singer, songwriter, musician, but perhaps most importantly as a performer. He has toured Canada entertaining live television audiences, has logged well over a thousand gigs, and has put himself in situations that he knew would inform him and give him the experience he needed to bring forward his music in confidence and style.
Lessons learned through extensive touring and performing, coupled with the 2012 release of his sophomore album “I want to see you smile” brought about a creatively rich period of self-reflection and personal growth, during which time much of Amos' forthcoming album came to fruition. The first single off this third album captures Amos J.'s present state. The Sagittarian, whose only real constant is movement, has chosen to use the single's main message, “you've got to get on with your life” as an introduction to his current state.
Amos J., speaks and sings his mind; when you hear “always keep learning” it is not just a lyric. A trip through his discography will attest to that.
