Amy Lynn & The Gunshow

Biography

New Yorker Amy Lynn’s rich vocals, zany humor, and sassy playfulness have captured audiences worldwide with her dynamic performances. Whether it’s having the honor to sing for our troops as a USO Liberty Bell or perform on the grand stage of Radio City Music Hall in front of thousands Amy Lynn has the ability to inspire and connect with her audiences.

While touring in Europe with the musical Grease it was in Zurich, Switzerland where she met the talented musician Alex Hamlin. The two immediately had a connection that could not be ignored and began writing music together. Within a year’s time they finished their debut EP and formed a 9-piece band now called the Gunshow. The Gunshow continues to play in highly reputable New York venues such as Bitter End, Canal Room, Mercury Lounge, and most recently they headlined at the Highline Ballroom. They will be making their European Debut with an 18-day tour in May 2010.

Amy Lynn & The Gunshow
2009
Chock-full of the sort of music Diana Ross perfected and many, many others have imitated, the group’s self-titled, four-song EP is an unexpected hit of ‘60s sass, the perfect mix of gunpowder and girlishness to at once honor Ross and one-up her.
