Half rock tigress, half opera diva, Andrea Plamondon is an "artist of many genres", who was first noticed by visiting artist Rick Brant of the N.Y. Metropolitan Opera. With a background in the Dramatic and Visual Arts, and in Poetics, her work is "diverse, atmospheric and compelling". She has performed leading roles in theatrical productions on the east and west coasts and has fronted bands in many of San Francisco's most popular clubs and venues. Her songs have been featured on radio and internet radio in the United States and abroad, and on various compilations, including two Woa Records releases produced and conceptualized by MTV Europe Music Awards Nominee Oliver Sean.
Plamondon is currently at work on a trilogy of Sacred Arias with arranger and composer for tv (Archer and Royal Pains) Charlie Barnett, and on her own original classical compositions. She is also the vocalist for 'Safffra', a transoceanic collaboration with rapper and Hip-Hop artist Terbleos of Ghana Africa.
