Andrea Tatum is an anointed psalmist, whose desire is to uplift your spirit with her unmistakable voice and to proclaim the power of God. Andrea was always aware of God's anointing on her life and at the tender age of three she sang her first solo in church. Andrea grew up listening to famed artists such as Shirley Caesar, Aretha Franklin, the late great Rev. James Cleveland and the late Sam Cooke. These artists and many more inspired her passion for music and singing. Throughout high school Andrea received vocal training and sang in various local and regional vocal competitions with much success. She received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Andrea is not only a Registered Nurse; she is also an ordained minister with a Master of Divinity degree from Drew University School of Theology in Madison, New Jersey.
Andrea made her professional debut at the Beacon Theatre in 2004, where she opened the show with gospel inspirations for the legendary Jerry Butler. She has performed in numerous gospel concerts and events held in the New York/New Jersey area.
Andrea believes it is God's plan and purpose for her to bless people through her ministry of song and the spoken word. Her heart's desire is to touch and change the lives of those who listen as she ministers to them. Andrea wants to see the manifested presence of God moving , healing and delivering during praise and worship. She is determined to be obedient to the mandate God has placed on her life, which is to spread the Gospel to all God's people and nations.
