BIOGRAPHY
Mother and daughter team, Bowing Branches, have been writing and singing together for many years, but have only recently begun performing publicly following their debut at the American Christian Songwriters Association annual benefit concert in Longview, Texas in February of 2012. Hiedi Freeman (mother) and Mya Plyler (daughter) have voices that blend in an uncanny way that causes the hair to stand up on the back of your neck. Their lyrics are raw and breathtaking and their unusual art-song style is reminiscent of Schubert, though modernized with their straight vocal tone. Their music will raise both spirit and mind as you consider their thought provoking lyrical perspective while enveloped in their dream-like voices.
