BIOGRAPHY
Anna Ayers was born and raised in the rural town of New Hampton, Iowa. At the age of 18 she was presented with an opportunity to study at Sir Paul McCartney's Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts and subsequently moved to Liverpool, England. Shortly after attaining her degree, she returned to the United States in order to sign with Fifi Oscard Talent Agency in New York City. After a brief stint in the theatre world, she realized that her true passion lay within another realm. Compelled by an unrelenting desire to pursue her calling, she purchased her first piano—an old Baldwin Acrosonic—in the winter of 2006 and began writing music. After years of hard work and self-exploration, she brought her compositions to Casa Nova Studios in the autumn of 2008. With the fine production skills of The Brooklyn Sheiks—string arranger Nick Rosenthal and engineer/mixer Tommy Mokas—these compositions were brought to life.
