BIOGRAPHY
Singer/songwriter Anna Navarro has shown a keen passion for songwriting since she was three years old when she began making up her own lyrics to classical songs. Soon after, she was creating her own melodies. She got her first taste of recording when she flawlessly read the storybook "Ten Little Ladybugs" as part of a recording with her preschool class. Her crystal clear elocution made her parents enrol her in voice lessons at the age of eight, at which her teacher found a bright student that could quickly learn difficult pieces. Anna was soon singing classical Italian and Latin pieces, as well as songs from musicals.
At the fine arts elementary school that she attends, there are several opportunities for students to create their own musical pieces, and Anna jumps at every opportunity. Even on play dates with friends, Anna will initiate the creation of fun, non-sensical songs and get her father to record them in their recording studio.
Also a well-rounded piano student, Anna finds even more challenge in teaching herself to play guitar, transcribing current and classic pop songs and performing them for her family.
Anna Navarro is young and driven, making music with her own indelible stamp. And she has a lot of fun doing it.
