Anne Bisson started playing classical piano at age 6.. At eleven, she composes her first songs on an old guitar given to her by a friend. It’s the beginning of a love story. Anne confides in this guitar and piano. After graduating from a private music school at age 16, she entered college (Cegep St-Laurent) in Montreal to study piano and violin as her second instrument.
In 1986, she lands the role of Crystal and records one of the most famous rock opera in the history of Quebec and France. A Quebec tour, a show at Place des Arts, Anne gets a taste for the stage and considers a solo career.
In March 2004 she completes her Bachelor degree in classical singing with high distinction and starts writing her new album. In July 2008, she walks into Guy St-Onge’s Studio Référence to record in only two days, her Blue Mind album. Preproduction was rigorous. It took months of work, but then Anne was totally ready when the time came to lay down the songs. Two renowned and talented artists join her. Double-bass player Normand Guilbault and drummer Paul Brochu. Encouraged and supported by Guy St-Onge, Anne records her songs with confidence and simplicity.
Anne invites you to a very touching musical experience that speaks to the heart.
