Annie was born in Vancouver, Washington and raised in Bakersfield, California where she started playing in local bands when she was 19.
She shifted her focus to writing fourteen years ago, completing more than a dozen screenplays, two stage plays, myriad short stories and, of course, songs. Annie lives with her husband, historian Neal Graffy in Santa Barbara, California where they run the not-for-profit Santa Barbara History Consortium along with their artistic pursuits.
