Anthony J. Shears

Seattle-native Anthony J. Shears released The Growth: My ENDtroduction Deluxe Edition on July 23, 2013. It's a follow up to the original 2007 release, with an additional 5 new songs. In between that time, Shears spent his time ghost-writing and producing for some of the biggest artists in urban music.

He has since released I Thought I Could Fly, a single addressing the Trayvon Martin controversy. He is currently in the studio working on more music as he prepares for his The Growth: Basement Acoustic Tour 2013-2014.

On October 1st, 2013 the song “Loud & Proud (12th Man!)” was featured on Northwest Cable News during the Northwest Sports Tonight Show and on King 5 News during their Sports segment.Anthony J. Shears releases his new single “Loud & Proud,” more than a week earlier than its expected debut. The rapper posted the new single on his Soundcloud and Twitter, along with a note describing his motivations behind the song:

"I wrote this song simply because it needed to be written. In a way, this song wrote itself with the type of season our Seahawks are having. When you've been a Seahawks fan as long as I have, you understand the importance of authenticity and loyalty. That's what being a 12 is all about - Authenticity!"

"Loud and Proud (12th Man!)" was replayed again on Sunday Oct. 6 on Fone Zone on NWCN, a call-in show telecast, immediately after the Seattle Seahawks vs. Indianapolis Colts game.
