Influenced by southern hard rock and metal, Anti-Mortem is a new expression to an age old idea. Featuring intros of southern rock, the following distortion will knock you back with the resulting whiplash motions starting the series of headbanging you've been without since Metalica went alternative.
Separated from some bands by their on stage commitment to greatness, this band's earliest work started as the majority of the band was 16, their first self titled work began a series of unrelenting bids to rock everyone they met with their enthusiasm for music. This commitment to the art of rocking EVERYONE in a crowd was so relentless that in 2009 Anti-Mortem played a Clutch after party at the Rock Lounge in Oklahoma City, OK with severe cases of the swine flu. Quoting Zain Smith, guitarist for the band, "We never miss a show...EVER!" While barely able to stand Larado Romo, vocals, pulled off a soulful cover of the classic Skynyrd song "Simple Man".
Currently, the band is writing for their second album due sometime in early 2011.
