BIOGRAPHY
Aqquarela was born in the summer of 2007 in Los Angeles, California. The initial magic started when Robert van der Ree (guitar) and Mauricio G. Jasso (keys) decided to collaborate and experiment with a new sound. This new sound evolved into Aqquarela – a Latin, pop rock project. They decided to apply Spanish lyrics because of its flare, romanticism, and beauty all around. Aqquarela produces music that spans all popular genres; therefore, the set list is accessible to a wide range of people and interests.
The lovely voice of Michelle Ojeda was finally discovered a couple of years after the conception of the project. It is through Michelle that each song expresses its unique complexity of emotion. Her voice has captured the hearts of the young, the old and everyone in between. Weaving his way through, Christian Lopez has demonstrated great abilities in his guitar skills and has offered a strong commitment to the Aqquarela project. With Michelle and Christian, Aqquarela was complete. Aqquarela continuously collaborates with other musicians to complete the sound. Aqquarela is thankful to count on the talents of other artists to be, and to thrive.
