Ariana Lenarsky

Biography

Portland based singer-songwriter Ariana Lenarsky follows her 2006 debut (singing backup on Elvis Perkins’ critically acclaimed 2006 debut album Ash Wednesday, released on XL Recordings and credited by the New York Times as “a remarkably beautiful elegy”) with the release of her first solo album BIG HOUSE LITTLE MOUSE. As her co-producer Nick Wan admits, Ariana “is a girl who you might not believe sings and writes incredible music if you high-fived her at a party,” and, in a continuing theme of subradar genius, has been mentioned in Radio From Heaven as one of “the best under-rated/unknown artists out there.”
