Biography: Aronson Twins
After graduating from college, twin brothers Seth and Phil Aronson formed a group called Mirror Images, never recording any albums but playing around in New York's West Village in the late '80s. Eventually, both went on to pursue other careers, but years after their last show, they started performing again. This was partially sparked by the renewed interest and enthusiasm of Phil, who had recently overcome severe depression, culminating in a suicide attempt. After his recovery and the co-authorship, alongside his former wife Emme, of the book Morning Has Broken, which spoke of their experience with his disease, Phil found solace in music and began writing new songs, including "Show Me the Way." Inviting Seth to join him, the siblings, under the name the Aronson Twins, along with Joe Vulpis* began picking up where they had left off almost two decades before. ˜ Marisa Brown, All Music Guide.
Both twins in addition to pursuing their singing and songwriting, fuel their creative passions at THE ARONSON GROUP... their own organization which specializes in providing brand building solutions with expertise in advertising, marketing, sales promotion, print production and merchandising.
Phillip,In addition is an author, public speaker and advocate for suicide prevention and awareness. During his spare time, he lectures at organizations, High Schools and Universities across the country... ending his presentation with a live performance of Aronson Twins "Show Me The Way."
Currently, Aronson Twins, teaming up with Joe Vulpis are writing/arranging 14 original songs that they coauthored back in 1985. With Phillip on guitar the twin vocalists have the unique quality of blending two voices as one; with all of their original compositions conveying special meaning about love, friendship, family, and life. The twins can be found performing in the greater New York Metropolitan area.
