"Ashira Morgenstern" is the pen name of a chassidic teacher, songwriter, and storyteller who lives in Jerusalem. Through stories and lyrics woven from ancient wisdom into gentle, folk-inspired songs, she invites listeners to explore hidden dimensions of the Torah in new ways.
Ashira first began writing/presenting songs as a student of Rebbetzin Sara Freifeld a”h in Far Rockaway, NY. Then, after immigrating to Israel, she began writing original songs and presenting them in concerts (for women only) as an innovative way to teach Torah. Her four albums of original music were recorded over the years from 1983 through 2007.
