Writing in the 3rd person about myself is odd, so I will just speak for myself here: My name is Lauren Ashley Eriksson. My musical upbringing, so-to-speak, is a combination of the following influences: piano lessons ages 5-10, singing along to/ memorizing Beatles' albums, and having an introduction to writing/ recording songs from my oldest brother using his equipment as a young teenager. Nearing the end of high school, I started writing more and more songs. A big leap was buying a digital 8 track, microphone, and bass guitar and then the recording really began and I was in love with the artform.
