Ayres De Los Andes

We are Ayres de los Andes a Latin America folk band with the goal of disseminating the folkloric music from South and Central America. The fusion and adaptation of the European music and instruments with aborigene music and instruments created these rich, diverse and unique sounds and rhythms.

Ayres de los Andes was born in June 2008 as an answer to discover the roots and heritage of our band members. In playing the songs we use authentic musical instruments from the Andes and other regions. For example, our wind instruments are the quena and zampoña; our strings instruments are charango, Spanish guitar and cuatro; our percussion consists of bombo, cajon, bongo, huiro.

If you would like to know more about us please go to our website . We hope you enjoy the music as much as we do. Thanks.
