BIOGRAPHY
First album released by Bruno Angelico "Baby Funk & Children of Truth" called "Too Funk For Yoo". Bruno's father Jo, was a Jazz Band Leader. He was also the first guitar player for French Blues Singer Edith Piaf. He later on turned toward Mambo, Samba and Cha-Cha. He was the first one to introduce it in Europe with songs like "Che Mambo Che" "Mambo Blanco" or the afro-beat "Bombay Juhu" played later on by many other American and Cuban bands such as "The Ramblers / Perry Como" or "Oscar Calle and his Cuban Boys" etc. Bruno's mother Graziella was a stunning beautiful singer who also became part of the band. Jo and The Latin Boys performed all over the world, US, Cuba, Mexico, Tokyo, Singapore, Western Europe even on the "Normandie" cruise or at the Taj Mahal in India to play for the Princess... They performed with artist such as Dizzy Gillespie, Yma Sumac, Josephine Baker, Cab Calloway etc. Bruno Angelico at a very young age probably influenced by percussion played by his father instantly fell in love with Funk and Soul music first time he heard it. His parents started to teach him piano but after hearing an album called "Mirror" from Graham Central Station... The choice was made. Bruno only wanted to play Bass and nothing else. Bruno Angelico "Baby Funk" played music since a teen but never really put a band together before. Even if he is strongly driven by Funk music, Bruno Angelico's music is also versatile and unexpected not following any rules...As he is in real life... But that also made him an amazing creator and master in the world of stunts and acrobatics check that out too http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dd19yxhi_cM ----- If you ask Bruno "Baby Funk" Angelico why is writing music now? "Because music is the language of God... To speak the truth to who wants to hear it"
