BC, former member of the 90’s MCA Records recording group IV Xample is back. IV Xample selling over 500,000 copies worldwide and touring the world was a fresh start in the music industry for BC. Shortly after climbing the Billboard 100 charts to a nice top 20 spot touring/performing with names such as Shai, Montell Jordan, All For One, H-Town, Silk, Jodeci, Mary J Bleige and many more, the group had taken a beating when the label changed regime and proposed other plans for the group. With all the company changes, things were not the same. BC decided to go solo. Shortly after leaving the group BC landed a solo recording deal with MCA subsidiary record label RED ANT. Executively writing and producing his first solo project BC’s career was taking a positive turn. With his debut single “WHY-O-WHY” hitting the video circuit and dancing it’s way up the Billboard R&B chart to top out at #32, BC was on a smooth ride to success. Along the course the
label filed chapter 11 leaving BC and all it’s artist as well as the staff out in the cold. Taking a massive blow twice within 4 years professionally had left BC in a bad place mentally. He walked away from the music indusrty in late 1999. Trying to recapture some of his passion BC resurfaced and released a well rounded R&B love album titled “Candyman” Love Letters in 2005. Selling as many as 20,000 copies as an independent overseas, BC was on to something. This 2013 BC has resurfaced one more time to bring to you “Re-Entry”. This Re-Entry album, BC is introducing a new genre of music. Blending Alternative Rock, R&B and Hip-Hop, BC has bent the sound airwaves just a tiny bit. With “Bill Collectors” being his leading track consumers and music lovers ears are open for a taste of what BC has to say this time. With this fresh new sound along with his soulful R&B and Hip-Hop blends, BC is sure to capture and captivate a wide range of audiences.
“In 1999 my BC “SOLO” album left me out in space with now way of knowing how to return. Now I’ve sat with God who stripped me of it all and re-trained me to be stronger and wiser. I’m here…. I’m back and I’m ready to share what I have learned from the master. I give you “Re-Entry”…. BC Swang Music LLC
