Babaji Bob Kindler

Biography

With a professional background as a classical cellist, Babaji Bob Kindler has shared the universal language of music with many of the greatest composers, conductors, and artists of contemporary times. His emergence as a teacher of Sanatana Dharma occurred naturally with the creation of Jai Ma Music in 1980 as a vehicle for the exalted teachings of India through wisdom-oriented devotional music. Pioneering what has since become a popular genre of music, Babaji has produced chanting albums of exceptional beauty and inspiration in a unique style, fusing original Sanskrit and other Indian languages with heartfelt English translations woven into a musical firmament of Eastern and Western instruments. As Spiritual Director of SRV Associations, formed in 1993, Babaji gives classes and retreats at the Portland, San Francisco, and Hawaii ashramas. He is the author of several books on Advaita Vedanta and Divine Mother Reality.
