Rock- Rap-Funk-life-change is the philosophy behind the powerhouse that is Back Yard Pimps. With origins that trace back a decade; the group was formed by brothers Hondo (Vocal/Guitars) and Al Key (Vocals/Keys), in their pursuit to put a soundtrack to their experiences growing up. After a couple different incarnations of the band, BYP finally put together the perfect lineup, including not only Hondo and Al Keyz, but also Nameo (Vocals), ICBM (Drums), Somer Rocks (Guitars) and Vinnie Mack (Bass). Now in it's current state, these "brothers in arms" have been literally blazing a path across not only Southern California, but the entire Southwest. Armed with a blazing live show and with the release of their first full length CD entitled “Pieces” BYP looks to take there brand of Rock, Rap, Funk, life and change to the masses.
