Biography

Bada Haridas, known for his meditative singing and transcendental compositions, has the ability to transport his listener to another dimension. Sacred chants and soulful prayers comprise the music he composes, arranges, sings and records.

Bada Haridas has a background in classical music, jazz, and pop. He earned his degree from the University of Southern California (USC) in music composition, and has played professionally since the age of 18. He has studied and performed Indian devotional music, including Indian classical music and raga, since 1975.

Bada Haridas artistically weaves together his many influences, creating unique music for his kirtan chants. As a sincere practitioner of bhakti yoga, there is a depth to his music and a quality of his singing that is both inspiring and healing.
