Jimmy Badrat is a producer/composer based at The Abbey Studio, a stones throw from Stonehenge.
Playing a variety of instruments from a young age, a keyboard within constant reach, guitar lessons at Tarporley primary. Then sent to The Grange Grammar in Hartford where he played clarinet in the orchestra.
After being expelled from the latter, he went back to Tarporley High where spare time was spent with friends attempting to form the greatest Heavy Metal band in the World. The school also kindly gave him his first decks and allowed him to organise discos.
During the 90s and into the 00s he was DJing at raves in fields with heavily Orb inspired Dub, eventually finding a roof over his head at Southampton's Afro Caribbean Centre.
From 2004 with his partner Wendy at the helm of management/promotion and nepotism, Jimmy worked on numerous projects from independent film soundtracks to advertising and promotional music for the likes of Maserati, Colnago and Future Publishing.
He has worked and gigged with some very talented friends and fellow musicians including Ashlee Lovebox, Rachel Sinnetta, Brett Sutherland, Joe Pratt, Ben Coley and former first violin to the London Symphony Orchestra, Bill Benham.
When not experimenting in harmonic resonance and practising auditive levitation, you can find him in his shop in Amesbury, selling fine art and framing pictures.
