Born and raised in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Beni R. Lukumu is a Worshiper and Minister as well as a singer-songwriter from Green Pastures Church in Worcester, Massachusetts. Ministering through songs brought him joy, as a small child he joined the Catholic choir at the age of ten. However, not finding any interest in that particular style of worship, he left the church. After the premature death of his mother, which led him to question the existence of God, he joined a Protestant Church in Mbujimayi. He was baptized in the name of Jesus-Christ, began confessing the truth found in the word of God and, within a few months, joined another choir in his village where he improved his singing abilities. In 2009, Beni wrote his first song titled,"My Heart Is In Need, “followed by the titled track of his current album Wonders Of God, a 10 track album written by Beni. Recently, he was thrilled to announce to his family in Africa that his song"Cry In The Desert" has been released to the U.S nationwide radio through HMG Nashville. His desire is to bring together people of all races, all tribes, and nationalities to worship the true God of the universe, and to remind them that worship is what we live for.
“Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. 24 God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth” (John 4:23).
