For over 25 years, LA keyboardist Bernie Sirelson has combined classical training with a love for computers and digital technology. The result: CD releases “Point of Departure” (‘02), “The Artist or the Audience” (‘04), and the improvisational duo, Telescope.
Bernie studied composition and piano at CSUN. He found his stride when he discovered electronic music and then computer based composition.
Bernie’s first CD, “Point of Departure”, is minimalist counterpoint and lush electronics. His second CD, “The Artist or the Audience”, is a selection of keyboard improvisations.
Bernie’s exposure to the music and master musicians from around the world has a powerful impact on the sound, form and aesthetics of his music.
