The initial concept was to research and revisit Maltese classic songs written in the Maltese language, some of which have been lost and forgotten. The music has been thoroughly rearranged in-house by the Big Band Brothers giving all the songs a modern big band twist. Through the set up of; a full rhythm section, 4 trumpets, 4 trombones and 5 saxophones, a new modernised texture and better sound quality has been achieved. International artists namely Mro Wayne Marshall, Gjorgi Cincievski and Alex Bezzina contributed alongside the Big Band Brothers with their inspiring work on three of the songs giving their own unique interpretation.
