Big G, a Song Writer and Southern Soul Recording Artist that is a native of Charlotte County Virginia, Big G now resides in Richmond Virginia. In 1997, he started performing with the Legendary Roy C and his popularity picked up throughout the mid-Atlantic region.
Big G released two CDs before his first big single, “Hot Loving” that he released in 2003, which still packs the dance floors. In 2006, Big G was a finalist in the CBS Battle of the bands, which was broadcast nationally on the CBS Early Morning Show.
Some of his greatest moments have been sharing the stage with Marvin Sease, Mel Waiters, Roy C, Clarence Carter, Mille Jackson and Betty Wright. Big G performed on the Blues Festival Tours a few years ago at RBC Center in Raleigh NC and the Richmond Coliseum.
Big G’s music is being sold locally, nationally as well as abroad. Songs from his collection are being played on radio stations throughout the United States on the Southern Soul, RB and Beach Music Stations.
