Biography

Through humor and active participation, Mr. Hooper and audience create a warm world of learning and laughter. Bill Hooper has been performing original interactive children's music in the Chicago area for over twenty years.

He has a degree in music from Roosevelt University, Chicago and has performed in a variety of musical settings throughout the midwest, including Taste of Chicago, Woodstock Opera House and on WGN TV's Bozo Show.

Accompanied by guitar, Mr. Hooper performs original songs about music and motion, nature and feelings, which resonate with young children and their families. He has performed for audiences throughout the Midwest, including at Taste of Chicago, the Chicago Public Library and at St. Charles' Scarecrow Fest.

Mr. Hooper has released two new CDs of children's music, one of which was reviewed in the School Library Journal. He has two other cassettes of children's music and one tape of songs for babies, all of which will be released on CD soon.
