Bill grew up in the Austin, Texas area and was influenced by many of the artist that were coming out of the Austin area. The most notable of these were
Johnny Winter Band, The Thirteen Floor Elevators, and also Steve Miller and Rusty Wier. He began playing in many groups in the Austin area including The Primitive Moderns, The Rockthounds and also Chapparral. Chapparal is still a driving force in the Austin area. Bill released a 4-song cassette entitled "Neon Rainbow" and began recording songs for his new CD. The new CD "The Love Doctor" was released and contains 14 rock, blues and country songs. The album is as hot as a summer night in August. Bill has also released a new album entitled "Turn the Dice." The CD is available here at CD Baby.
The CD features some fine guitar playing from David Sensat. Sam Speranza is on keyboard, Paul Wright is on bass, John Moore on drums and background vocals are handled by Pat Clark and Deborah Higgins.
