Born in Lanarkshire ScotlandI in 1964, I have always been a fairly spiritual person with outside the box ideas and beliefs. However, about 12 years ago I began to re-connect with my spirituality and it has been growing ever since.
My spiritual journey really began with the passing of my father in 1973. I was only 9 years old when he died. I felt angry and hurt and I carried that anger and resentment around with me for many years creating blockages and sabotaging my life. However, after many years of emotional struggle and a fair number of mishaps and adventures, things finally began to change for the better. It was about 12 years ago and I was having some emotional healing and the healer lent me a book by Diana Cooper entitled 'Light Up Your Life' and it was that book in conjunction with the healing I received that awakened my awareness of universal energy. And then about 2 years after that I discovered a book entitled ‘Mind Sculpture’ by Prof Ian Robertson (an eminent Scottish neurologist) in which he explains the correlation between mind and body and that how we think changes not only how we feel but how we are. It certainly changed how I thought about things and my learning began in earnest.
A great many books and subject matter later ranging NLP, law of attraction, Biology and even quantum physics have all taken me on the most amazing voyage of discovery. In 2005 I became a Reiki practioner and gained my 2nd degree in 2010 and I am in the process of establishing a practice for healing and empowerment.
My mission is to try to help as many people as possible to become more empowered within their lives so that they may achieve their fullest potential.
Many people have told me over the years that I have a healing energy within my voice and so, after much persuasion, have decided to produce this short c.d. I really hope you enjoy it and that it helps in some way.
I think this quote from Nelson Mandela really sums it up.
“ Our deepest fear is that we are not inadequate,
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure,
It is our light, not our darkness, that frightens us most.
We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented and fabulous.
Actually, who are you not to be.
Your playing small doesn’t serve the world.
There’s nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people
Won’t feel insecure around you.
We were born to manifest the glory of god within us.
It’s not just in some of us, it’s in all of us.
As we let our light shine, we unconsciously give others the
Permission to do the same.
As we are liberated from our own fears, our presence
Automatically liberates others.”
Nelson Mandela 1994
