Bishop Saynomore, a young artist from Washington D.C., is a hybrid of many styles of Music. With Classical training on Piano and a Bluesman Guitar Teacher, his style is an incredible fusion of sounds.
What makes Bishop different is the meanings of his music, the subjects he focuses on, the content of his lyrics, and ultimately the message conveyed in it. His sound is by nature insightful, intimate, sometimes almost dark, but always filled with faith, love and sharing.
He released his Debut album in 2009 titled Ode To Lisbon. The music was inspired by a trip to Portugal with his Wife who is a native of Lisbon, Portugal. He wanted to create an album that would give the listener the feelings he felt while being there. He first performed songs from the album at the French Arts and Music Festival in Washington D.C. in June 2009.
His Sophomore album titled Some Glad Morning was released in March of 2010. The Music was written for an Aerial Dance company that he is currently touring with called Updraft: a conspiracy of movement. It's based around a theme about the destruction to our Earth and what can happen if we don't do something about it. The Music paints a scary picture of the cause and effects. But, it also paints a sunny and beautiful picture of how there is still hope.
Currently he is working on a new album and plans a promotional Tour.
