Body was formed in early 1998 with the intention to create a musical style that was ambient and experimental within an alternative rock context.
The first lineup included Mark Nowak on vocals, Jeff Bridi on bass/vocals, Nick Bohensky on guitar, Dan Holmes on keyboards/vocals and Dave Wilson on drums.
Body recorded their first album 'Second Century' using a home studio, learning the finer points of recording along the way.
This first effort proved to be a strong debut for the band, who played several successful shows in 1999 to support the CD.
The year 2000 saw the band become a quartet, with Jeff taking over as lead vocalist...
Their second album 'thethinhour' is a step forward for the band in both songwriting and recording.
It was written and recorded over 10 months at Rosemont Recordings studio and explores the themes of hope, despair and isolation.
